How We Build
Each one of our outdoor storage sheds is built with a base of rot-resistant, pressure-treated 4×4 beams to give it a strong foundation. On top of the beams are pressure-treated 2×6 floor joists, placed at 16″ on center, unlike many of our competitors, who use only 2×4 joists. For flooring, we use a quality 3/4″ tongue and groove product with a 50-year warranty, rather than the standard 5/8 straight edge flooring. The frame/skeleton of each portable shed we build is constructed with 2×4 studs spaced at 16″ (most competitors place studs every 24″). In addition, we clad the 2×4 skeleton in 7/16 OSB Sheathing as a reinforcement. Then we add the customer’s choice of siding: pressure-treated wood or low-maintenance vinyl. Finally, our storage buildings come with either an asphalt shingle roof or a painted metal roof.
Make Your Shed Unique
Speaking of paint, we offer a wide variety of paint and siding colors to match any taste, in addition to our classic stained wood look. Once the main color is chosen, customers can also pick out the accent colors for the roof and the trim.
